• Became involved in Technical Staffing in 1980 upon joining Northrop Corporation, Rolling Meadows, Illinois as a Staffing Representative
• First interfaced with/hired candidates from recruiting firms summer 1980.
• Was Human Resource Customer for first Retained search in 1982
• Promoted to Supervisor, Staffing, 4 direct reports, in 1984, age 27, youngest supervisor in Human Resource Department.
• Oversaw high volume hiring for multiple years, team handled the hiring of 4000 exempt employees in 36 month stretch from 1984 to 1986.
• Left Northrop in 1989, started in search business with HTA, primarily recruiting for Motorola.
• Became partner in Midwest Consulting Corp in 1991, performed contingent searches and supplied technical contract employees.
• Engaged, and successfully closed, in first retained search as a vendor, 1994, Product Manager.
• 1995-2000, involved in over 3 dozen successful retained searches.
• Formed Network Search Partners in 2001 after Midwest folded in downturn. Successfully acquired long range consulting contract in second week of operation.
